About Lievissima EVOLUTION:

The first ultra-lightweight Lievissima was a challenge for Musafia: how to match the weight of carbon fiber cases using wood laminate, but WITH a protective cover and thermal insulation? And offer better all-around protection at a competitive price?

Since its introduction in the Fall of 2014, we’ve been tirelessly working on it to make Lievissima truly unbeatable. The interior design was continuously refined, the linings upgraded, the shoulder rest position optimized, the strap handles are now in real leather… but we made the quantum leap: Lievissima Evolution.

With Lievissima Evo we doubled the thickness of the thermal insulation (the cover is now truly super padded) to the point of it now providing protection against even substantial bumps, and did away with the sewn exterior borders for a new smooth, rounded, modern borderless look, making an aftermarket slip-on insulation cover no longer necessary even for rigid climes. And guess what: Lievissima Evo is even lighter still! A dart-shape model S1911 weighs in fact consistently less than the declared 1.9 kg/ 4.18 lbs., and we guarantee that in writing.

LIEVISSIMA EVOLUTION allows you to decide which accessories and features you need and which you don't, so you don't have to pay for the ones you can do without, nor carry their weight around. For example, straps are not included: you can order LIEVISSIMA EVO with a normal shoulder strap, two normal straps that also permit backpack use, choose padded straps instead of the normal ones- or no straps at all, if you already have them!
